Stopper Processing System Features Variable Process Volume Up To 300 Liters
Atec designs and manufactures Stopper Processing Systems for sterile filling lines. The stoppers are maintained in a process vessel through the complete process with stopper loading, stopper processing and stopper transfer.
The Atec Stopper Processing System features:

The Stopper Processing System consists of 3 Stations:
Loading Station
Stoppers are loaded from bags into the process vessel at the loading station.
Process Station
The process steps washing, sterilization, siliconization, drying and cooling are done at the process station of the stopper processing system. Before and after the process a pressure and/or vacuum test can be carried out.
Transfer Station
For the stopper transfer a system with a steam sterilisable transfer pipe or a port system can be used. The transfer is done directly at the Isolator or RABS.
Stopper Transfer in Bags
For the transfer of stoppers in bags Atec developed a bag filling equipment. The system can be used to serve existing filling lines installed in a clean room or filling lines with a bag transfer port.

Complete stopper preparation is provided by an Atec Pharmatechnik stopper processing system. The process vessel is then docked for sterile transfer via RTP on an isolator.
