FIBC DISCHARGE & DOSING SYSTEM

This powder handling system for a Pharmaceutical company consists of three linked Stations for emptying and weighing out Pharma primary ingredients into process IBC's.

The core of the powder handling system is the ISL Big Bag Valve which activates and controls product from within the FIBC resulting in greatly reduced need for external activation such as massagers or vibrators typically a pre-requisite with other FIBC systems on the market.

TOTAL CONTAINMENT IBC SYSTEM

This system produces hypodermic injectable drugs with total containment and sanitation for the Pharmaceutical industry. The ISL Total Containment IBC's maintain total containment of the product from filling, through transport off site for processing, to storage, dosing and discharge to the process equipment.

After discharge, the system from the IBC's down is totally cleaned and sterilised with high pressure steam.

The IBC's maintain total integrity and containment through refilling and repeat of the process.

FORMULATION SYSTEM

This system for the food industry consists of a "carousel" of six Discharge/Dosing Stations on a support structure, each feeding through angled pipes to a Formulation IBC. This particular system has a weigh platform under the Formulation IBC which, via the controller, automatically discharges an accurate batch of product sequentially from each Product IBC on the Stations.

The Product IBC then is taken for Mixing in an ISL IBC Tumble Blender and then on for final process feed to packing into sacks through an ISL Dosing/packing system.

Such formulation systems can be GIW (gain in weight) as this one, or LIW (loss in weight) with load cells at each station so all operate simultaneously. Rather than a carousel, they can have the Stations in a single or two lines with the Mix IBC on a chain or other conveyor.
