Pharmaceutical Assembly of DPI Inhalers
Filling and final assembly of this DPI inhaler takes place in a production machine. During this process, the powder reservoir is filled inline, subsequently weighed and inserted into the device.
The longitudinal indexing platform MLT is ideally suited for the implementation of large-dimensioned systems with clearly laid out parts logistics, since all components can be fed from one side. But also products that require feeding from both sides during production can be automated on this machine perfectly. Thanks to the simple integration of barrier concepts, the machine has been designed for use in clean room classifications 100,000 – 10,000.
Up to 42 stations can be located on a machine of this design – with a maximum number of 80 cycles per minute. Additionally, the MLT platform makes a combination with further transport options possible. That way, the assembly process can work together efficiently with subsequent production processes, e.g. test operations.
