Glatt Air Techniques is introducing the GCSmart, a new line of tablet coating systems at the Interphex Trade Show held at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York on March 21-23, 2006.

The GCSmart Tablet Coater is based upon Glatt's GC Coater design and incorporates a fully perforated drum, Fischer baffle system for improved mixing, proprietary anti-bearding spray nozzle, WIP cleaning and Glatt's new SmartScoopTM discharge system*. The GCSmart coater ranges in size from 125 liter to 700 liter. The new EcoViewTM Controls, Glatt's enhanced Process Control System, provides a user friendly touch screen OIT, both manual and fully automated process control, recipes management and related batch reporting, 21 CFR part 11 compliant design and a GAMP based validation documentation package.
