Air France-KLM-Martinair Cargo Revolutionize Variation Pharma Solution By Offering va-Q-tec Containers

Air France-KLM-Martinair Cargo and va-Q-tec Ltd. are proud to announce their cooperation on the temperature controlled transportation of pharmaceutical and biotechnological goods worldwide. Eelco van Asch, Senior Vice President Sales & Distribution at Air France-KLM-Martinair Cargo and Dominic Hyde, Managing Director va-Q-tec Ltd. signed the partnership agreement in Amsterdam that enables forwarders and shippers to rent va-Q-tec containers directly through Air France-KLM-Martinair Cargo and return containers at 80 airports worldwide.

In their meeting, Air France-KLM-Martinair Cargo and va-Q-tec expressed their strong mutual interest to move forward as partners to enable the deviation-free transportation of life-saving pharmaceuticals to patients worldwide.

va-Q-tec rental containers, called va-Q-tainers and va-Q-cases, are passive containers using vacuum insulation technology in the container shell and phase change materials inside. The shipment temperatures range from -50°C to +25°C and provide unique solutions for the safe transportation of APIs and other healthcare products without dry ice, revolutionizing the Variation Pharma service by providing unbroken cold chains.
